I looked into multiple security systems, and the finalists became SimpliSafe and Adobe Systems.
I read a ton of reviews, and Adobe came out on top in most of them, and in most user comments as well. Here’s a great resource I found on Reddit.
Here’s some of the sensors I ordered:
Acoustic Glass Break Sensor |
Door / Window Sensors |
3-Pack of “Secured by abode” Stickers (Forward / Window mount) |
Water Leak Sensor |
Remote Key Fob |
Glass Break and Vibration Sensor |
Starter Kit plus AnnualĀ SecureĀ Plan |
Several things I liked about Adobe beyond the great customer reviews:
- I’ve contacted them myself, and the responses have been typically quick and on point.
- You can have as many or as few sensors as you like. You can always start on the smaller end and add more as your needs grow.
- The price is hard to beat.
- The monitoring price is also hard to beat. I’m going to pay annually, so it’s only $20 per month, compared to the $45 per month I was paying Guardian.
- Support is supposed to be fantastic. Hope I’ll never need it
- Works with Nest.
- Will work with Google Assistant. I reached out to them on FB, and they are waiting for Google to decide which way GA will support alarms in the near future. Once Google makes that decision, Adobe will program it in.
I wanted to have my tech ready for install when I moved in, so I already bought a lot of it. i did get the Adobe alarm.
